8 glorious hours...

STRAIGHT!! No interruptions by Miss Thing!! (Which really I don't mind as she greets me with huge smiles. How can you not want to get up to that cute face?) It was awesome!! I could slowly wake up and lounge in bed for a little while (after pumping as ~the girls~ were huge!) before getting cleaned up. Nice! I went shopping this morning and scored some adorable clothes for Miss M and some great scrapbook stuff for me. YAY! I was going to head to the outlet mall but decided to grab a salad and make my way back to the hotel to eat, visit with Lee and pump. We're off to Lee's appt right now then homeward bound. I've been away from Makenna for 24 hours and I miss her like crazy! I can't wait to get home and give her some big kisses!!! Now don't get me wrong, I LOVED my Kelly time but I love mommy time too. I'm going to schedule some overnite Kelly time again in the near future as it's good for my soul! Not so much the pocketbook though... teehee... oops! Sorry Lance:)

Does Makenna really need a mobile? We don't have one for her. We do have the rainforest soother thing that is too much for her right now while trying to go to bed but I think she'll love it later on. What are your thoughts on mobiles for the crib?

I don't think a mobile is a neccesity...although both of our kids LOVED staring at them! The soother's are really nice as they get older...we still use music to soothe our kids.

Maybe you could find a decent used mobile for less $$ at a garage sale or through craigslist...

Honestly, Jillian doesn't use her mobile that much so I really wouldn't call it a necessity.

All babies are different but Mason doesn't care for his mobile. When I turn it on he doesn't even watch it, he's more interested in the designs on his crib bumper! If the rainforest soother entertains her then there is no need to buy a mobile! :) Glad you got some extra zzz's!

Babies do love mobiles. That being said, my kid hated his. LOL

About the wrap, try these two sites for new ones

and

You can use them for newborn to toddlerhood. There really is no such thing as a too small baby.

Mobiles have been scientifically proven to induce night terrors in children under 1 years old. Seven out of ten children referred to it as an inescapeable howling demon from above. Always spinning and watching them as they sleep! Powerful study done by reputable scientists. So if you want your children to become the baby equivalent of vietnam vets then i say hurray! Go for it. Shouldn't be long till you find her huddled amongst the stuffed animals in baby face paint and matching rambo-esk headband muttering about her time in the mekong delta and booby trapping the cats. Good call on the mobile.
