It's Professor Haugen, thank you!

That's right...I'm now teaching! Yikes, right!! College no less. Which is probably much better then young impressionable minds:) I was offered and accepted a part time teaching position at a local college. I will just be teaching Tues and Thurs - 2 classes each day. Chem 2 and urinalysis for the fall quarter (starting Oct.6) then it will switch for the winter quarter and they are already trying to talk me into full time but I'm not having it! I'm excited about this new adventure but freaking out about putting Miss Thing in day care. I've found several places for her so I'm going to interview and go from there. I have 2 in particular that I'm leaning towards. I just hope I get the warm fuzzies and not the ick feeling.

On Miss Thing news...we had the blow out of the century here! ICK!! All the way up to her neck. It was the consistency of frosting and loads of it! It was SO disgusting!! Needless to say, there were 2 people in this house that had showers/baths this morning. I did not even attempt to save her outfit. I just threw it in a ziploc bag and tossed it out! It was a really She was standing on my lap and then got the serious "somethings going on" look and then she started to feel squishy around her waist. I leaned her forward so I could look to see if it was coming through the outfit and it was already brown and moving higher. Ahh, the glorious, glamorous life of a mother!

On a funnier note, if you need a really good laugh you need to go check out Jen's daughter Jillian discovering how to go up and down from her new chair. I seriously was crying I was laughing so hard. Just too funny!!! Jen, hope you don't mind me linking to your blog.. it is just so funny!! Email me if you do!!

Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!!! We're off to Brainerd for our annual trip to Dennis and Joanne's home. Love it up there!!!

I don't mind the link. Hell, I was cracking up when it was happening. Which is why I dragged the camera out, of course. Parenting should be fun, right? Too bad you didn't get any pics of that blowout...eeeewwww!

Congrats! May we now call you the Professor like off Gilligan's Island? Urinalysis does sound like a pretty exciting class!

Sounds like the perfect Job not too many hours and stuff. Tell Lance he rocks for doing that well in the Tater 10K. Seriously training for 10 days... If only I could be in shape like that. I have um dug the elliptical out from the clothes it was hiding under and I'm going to um give it a try again :))) Let's get together for coffee one day next week. I can cry to you about my Kindergartner being gone all day. sniff

Hope you are having a good weekend without any more blowouts! That part of you throwing away the outfit made me laugh - I totally do that!
